Training in lead safety management

Air-conseil environnement Inc is a training organization approved by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail for the purposes of the Act to promote the development and recognition of workforce skills.

Target customers

All those involved in supervising or carrying out work likely to generate lead dust or smoke. This includes management, supervisors, workers and members of the local health and safety committee.

 

We adapt training content to suit your needs. Training is offered on request. It is not offered on a regular schedule.

Teaching method

  • Masterful presentation assisted by slides;

  • Discussion forum around a theme

Duration

Theoretical training session covering work in the presence of lead (4 hours);

Number of participants

  • Maximum of 12 participants

Goals

  • Know and understand the risks associated with working with lead; and

  • ​Know and apply prevention methods specific to work involving lead.

Training content

  • General notions on Lead;

  • Health effects;

  • Applicable regulations;

  • Lead content and risk level;

  • Individual and collective protective means and equipment; 

  • Low, moderate and high risk safe work procedures,

  • Prevention and control methods
