Training on the safe management of asbestos
Air-conseil environnement Inc is a training organization approved by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail for the purposes of the Act to promote the development and recognition of workforce skills.
Target customers
All persons involved in the supervision or carrying out of work in the presence of asbestos or on materials containing asbestos. These may include management, supervisors, workers, and members of the local health and safety committee.
We promote the adaptation of training content according to the equipment used by your company. It is also possible to organize public sessions for this training.
Teaching method

Masterful presentation assisted by slides;

Discussion forum around a theme
Duration
This training can take several forms:

Requalification (2 hours);
-
Theoretical training session covering work in the presence of low and high risk asbestos (4 hours); or
-
General training session for managers on asbestos management (6 hours).
Number of participants
Maximum of 12 participants.
Goals

Know and understand the risks associated with work in the presence of asbestos; and

Know and apply the prevention methods specific to work in the presence of asbestos.
